BIG ISSUE MAGAZINE
I made a Big Issue magazine, trying to link it to the social and cultural context of the time I made it. I decided to use the upcoming movie 'Marty Supreme' for the inspiration for my front cover. I tried to link the themes of the movie to the left-wing views of the magazine, to make it more appealing to the magazines target audience. I based my front cover off the typical layout of Big Issue magazines, to make it look as realistic as possible. I used a bright orange background, not only to reflect the ping-pong aspect of the movie, but also to make the magazine stand out and be able to be seen on the streets for vendors to sell.
